In this chapter, Richard arrives at work early, only to find out that the diner has apparently been and a valuable, if somewhat oddly chosen, possession taken out of it. Meanwhile, Amanda coaxes out a promise to visit the remote Whiskeyville in order to get the family jukebox fixed, and Katie plays a seductive game of hide-and-seek, clearly flirting with her boss while still keeping a cautious distance.
